I’m preaching on Noah this Sunday. Even as I type, I have the “rise and shine” song stuck in my head from my childhood Bible lessons. Funny though: the more I read this story, the more I’m shocked that this is framed as a story for kids in most contexts. Wild.
I’m working both out of Genesis 6-7 and Hebrews 11:7 as my primary texts, and I’m trying to hone in on one major statement about Noah. If you were to summarize what was critical to know about the story of God and Noah into one sentence, what would that sentence be?
